One of the best ways to get close to someone is to walk with someone just like this is a good way to get close to yourself and 'reflect'. This is much more dangerous for women than men so be careful

It definitely is fun but carry some bear mace and another form of self defense. The world is still dangerous especially in nature. Im a bigger dude and i still take the same precautions traveling alone when hiking even local trails. Have fun and enjoy nature but always be safe.

But you did ollie. Sure it looked sloppy but you did it. Now to polish it and do it while riding is the trick. It's scarier sure, but easier I find... kind of like balancing on a bike not moving vs moving... You're terrified the first time but then realize... huh... it's easier to stay on this thing the faster I go. Feels counter-intuitive, but it's not. Tip that might help... practice on the grass first, get the technique down, then worry about the balance on the concrete and conquering your nerves. I can tell you know how to ollie... looks like you're doing the correct things but just need to combine all the concepts at the same time. Analyze every failure. Find out why you didn't succeed that time... pinpoint it or have a friend do it for you who knows what they're talking about, and then focus on that... wisdom of life and can apply it to anything really ;). Last tip. Stop focusing on just ollieing and ollie over or onto something. I find when you try to actual use a real application/purpose to what you're learning (especially on a skateboard) your body just naturally and instinctively does what it's supposed to. In other words... stop thinking about it and just go do it. Not sure you relate to this... but it's like the difference between a music teacher forcing you to learn "Mary had a little lamb," vs. a teacher who asks you what song you want to be able to play, and then teaching you to play that... the motivation changes. Inspiring my friend. Keep at it. You'll land on your feet and on the board soon. I can tell. P.S. Don't not wear your helmet no matter how good you get... or else you'll end up like me. 9 months rehab, weeks in a hospital, and gnarly scar on half your head where hair will never grow again... could've been worse ;). Everyone falls. If you're not, then you're not pushing yourself hard enough. That's what my buddy tells me XD. I believe him so far.

Falling is the best part cause you get back up and the fear is gone 😁
